It’s an old song, but Renzetti’s right. Illegal immigrants make our society go ‘round, and without them our countries fail. We need to be reminded of this often, or at least until it sticks.

Maybe it’s about time we give these people real and social rights (without holding a grudge!) rather than calling our hardest working fellow human beings “lazy job thieves.” I don’t remember ever encountering an unenterprising person willing to do work others aren’t.

Why being called ‘tiny’ isn’t all it’s sized up to be:

I think we can all agree the most beautiful in the women in the world have a bit of what us Poles term “ciało,” or “body.” So why does “tiny” continue to be such a high compliment for women? Katrina Onstad wrote a column saying exactly what many of us have been thinking, especially those of us who work in retail selling clothes to women.

Now, it wouldn’t be a bad idea for someone to look at men — our body image is a bit of a complicated matter. We hate being seen as skinny, and today’s masculine ideals pressure us to have mass. But if men get too big, we risk feeling either too jacked or too fat, even if we’re all muscle. What’s the right balance to strike for us guys?

So it comes as no surprise that Victoria’s Secret’s angel Izabel Goulart calls São Paulo home.
